Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority (FMHA)
Counseling: One-on-one sessions with a HUD cer琀椀昀椀ed housing counselor to
help individuals and families with housing counseling needs. Counseling
services include fair housing, rental, pre-purchase, post purchase, and
mortgage delinquency.
Educa琀椀on Programs: A one-day group educa琀椀on class covering topics on 昀椀nancial capabili琀椀es,
credit, predatory lending, preventa琀椀ve maintenance, and safety in the home. Pre-Purchase and
Post-Purchase classes are available.
A昀昀ordable Lending: Providing guidance and help understanding mortgage products and
programs for any homebuyer. Provide assistance with down payment programs.
Realty Development: New Construc琀椀on — Providing new s琀椀ck-built home construc琀椀on.
Property Development: Working on the development of new communi琀椀es in the area.
Housing Rehabilita琀椀on: Providing grants for homeowners to help with necessary home repair.
